Rilwan Belo-Osagie

Background

Mr. Belo-Osagie was a founding member of staff of FSDH Merchant Bank and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2017. Prior to joining FSDH, Mr. Belo-Osagie worked with African International Bank Limited and Chartered Bank of Nigeria Limited in managerial positions. He also served as the Chairman of the Nigerian Discount Market Association several times while he was the MD/CEO of FSDH Merchant Bank. He is a graduate of the renowned Imperial College of Science and Technology, London and Strathclyde University, Glasgow and holds a Masters in Business Administration from The London Business School and an Advanced Management Programme from Havard Business School.

Hamda Ambah

Background

Having served effectively as an Executive Director from September 2009 to January 2017, Mrs. Ambah was appointed the Managing Director/CEO of FSDH on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. While serving as the bank’s Executive Director, she was in charge of the marketing teams including; Corporates – Multinational, Middle-tier Corporations, Telecommunications and the Energy Sector as well as the Port Harcourt and Abuja Regional Offices. She graduated from the University of Lagos in 1980 after which she headed to the Imperial College of Science & Technology, London for her Postgraduate qualifications. Before joining FSDH in 1993, Mrs. Ambah was at Reuters Ltd, Nigeria where she worked in the capacity of a Senior Executive for about five years. While there, she was solely responsible for the Nigerian sales accounts. Prior to this, she worked at the International Merchant Bank Plc, Lagos, Nigeria after joining the company in December 1982. She is a member of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and was awarded the 1999 IBTC award for the best examination candidate in Corporate Finance.

Tosayee Ogbomo

Background

Mr Ogbomo is a senior finance expert with over 27 years of international and local finance and investment experience. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Benin in 1988, holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Bentley College Graduate School in 1993 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1997. He worked as a senior associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1993 and then as a Director at Merrill Lynch and a Managing Director, Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs from 2004 to 2011. He was a Partner at Vine Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in key sectors in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. He serves as a director on the board of FSDH Asset Management Limited

Tolu Osinibi

Background

Mr. Osinibi has over twenty-five (25) years investment banking, asset management and consulting experience in Nigeria and Europe. He has led numerous project teams advising the Nigerian Government, major multinational clients and large local corporate institutions on major financial transactions. He worked with FCMB Capital Markets Ltd. (MD), KPMG Nigeria (Director) and Shell Nig. Closed Pension Fund Administrator (Chief Investment Officer). He was formerly Vice President at JP Morgan, London and holds a B.Sc in Economics from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.

Toyin Owolabi

Background

Mr. Owolabi has over 20 years of banking experience and is the Group Head of Financial Institutions, responsible for developing and managing the relationship with all non-bank financial institutions and other institutional clients. Before joining FSDH, he worked at FCMB and at different times oversaw Financial Institutions, Correspondent Banking and Structured Funding. He was also the Head of treasury at IMB international Bank. Mr. Owolabi’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Ilorin and an MBA from Business School Netherlands. He has attended numerous local and international courses and in addition to financial institutions, is responsible for wealth management and correspondent banking at FSDH Merchant Bank.

Afolabi Caxton Martins

Background

Mr. Caxton-Martins is the Managing Partner in the law firm of ACAS-Law (Adepetun, Caxton-Martins, Agbor & Segun), Corporate & Commercial Group. He brings to the board over thirty years career experience in corporate and commercial transactions particularly in relation to advising on foreign investment and joint ventures, private equity investments, international mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure projects particularly in the ports and telecoms sectors, anti-corruption and compliance due diligence and advisory, media, sports and entertainment law and arbitration. Afolabi is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and routinely advises on structuring investments to benefit from bilateral investment treaty protection. He is a graduate of University of London, Nigerian Law School and also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, The International Bar Association, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK.

Patrice Becker

Background

Mr. Backer is the Chief Investment Officer of AFIG Funds and has been with the Fund since its inception in 2006. He leads all aspects of the investment process and is a member of the Fund’s Investment Committee. Prior to AFIG Funds, Patrice was the Managing Director of PromoCapital, and prior to that was with JPMorgan’s Emerging Markets, Sales and Trading, and Latin America M&A groups. Patrice graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in 1988. He also holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute, both earned in 1993.

Oghoadena Ibikunle

Background

Oghoadena Ibikunle is a sales expert with over 13 years of experience in sales of financial services including equities, fixed income and asset management products. She joined FSDH Capital as the Head of Business Development in 2020. Prior to this, she served as a Senior Business Development Personnel at FCMB Asset Management Limited from 2015-2020 and held the position of Private Wealth Team Lead at CSL Stockbrokers Limited before this. Oghoadena holds a B.Sc Business Administration & Management from the University of Ado-Ekiti and has completed multiple trainings including Executive Sales Skills, and Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management.

Taiwo Olatunji

Background

Taiwo Olatunji is an investment banking professional with over 14 years of experience in business and financial advisory services. He specializes in Capital Markets (Debt & Equity), Financial Advisory and Project Finance. Taiwo began his career with FSDH Merchant Bank Limited in 2015 as Head of Capital Markets and moved to FSDH Capital Limited as Head of Investment Banking in 2019. He has been instrumental to several successful financial transactions including the first triple tranche Eurobond offering of US$2.87 Billion by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Eurobond was three times oversubscribed, eliciting an aggregate amount of US$9.50 Billion from investors across the globe. Prior to his time at FSDH, Taiwo was a consultant and Manager in the Financial Services Unit at Accenture Nigeria. Mr. Olatunji holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School and a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin. He is also a CFA® charterholder and has passed the certified PPP Professional (CP3P) preparation exam.

Opeyemi Omoleye

Background

Opeyemi Omoleye is an accountant with over 17 years of experience in financial control. She started her career with the Treasury and Financial Control Unit at Kakawa Discount House in 2004, and has since then worked with organizations like Eterna Oil & Gas Nigeria and Integrated Microfinance Bank. Opeyemi joined FSDH Group as a Financial Controller in 2007 and rose up the ranks to her current position as Head, Financial Control & Operations at FSDH Capital, where she oversees the Operations Unit. She holds an MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos. She is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
